Prof. Martin Hayden

Martin Hayden is a Professor of Higher Education at Southern Cross University in Australia. He has published extensively on topics related to higher education policy in Australia and Southeast Asia. In 2011-12, he led a major project supported by the World Bank to develop a master plan for the higher education system in Vietnam. Since then, he has produced reports on higher education in Southeast Asia for the ADB, the ASEAN Secretariat, the OECD, the World Bank, and the Australian Government. 

Since joining Southern Cross University, he has been the University's Director of Teaching and Learning, Chair of the Academic Board, a member of the University Council, Dean of Education, and Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Arts and Sciences.

    

Professor Philip G. Altbach

Philip G. Altbach is a Research Professor and director of the Center for International Higher Education in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. He is a veteran and expert in educational sciences. He is an author and co-editor of a lot of books such as Turmoil and Transition: The International Imperative in Higher Education, Comparative Higher Education, the International Handbook of Higher Education, etc. Dr. Altbach holds B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Chicago. 

He holds various positions such as a lecturer, a post-doctoral fellow, a president at universities in the US and China. At the same time, he also acted as an expert guest and received many awards in universities in India, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

Prof. Augie Grant

Dr. August E. (“Augie”) Grant is the J. Rion McKissick Professor of Journalism at the University of South Carolina and Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence. Grant specializes in research on new media technologies and consumer behavior. His teaching and research combine the study of traditional and emerging media, with emphasis on research methodology, media management, organizational structure, integrated communication, and consumer behavior. He has written numerous journal articles and conference papers dealing with the adoption and use of emerging communication technologies, broadband services, audience behavior, and theories of new media. Grant is also one of the most prominent academics working in the field of convergent journalism. He is co-editor of Understanding Media Convergence: The State of the Field and co-author of Principles of Convergent Journalism, both published by Oxford University Press.  His work in media convergence includes founding and serving for five years as Executive Editor of The Convergence Newsletter, chairing twelve national conferences on convergent journalism since 2002, and directing the Newsplex Summer Seminar program to train academics in convergent journalism. 

 

   

 

 

 

 

Professor Le Anh Vinh

Professor Le Anh Vinh is Vice Director General of Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences and the Director of National Center for Sustainable Development of General Education Quality. Before joining VNIES, he held several positions at the University of Education, Vietnam National University, including Dean of   Faculty of Teacher Education, Director of Center for Educational Researches and Applications, and Principal of High school of Educational Sciences.

Prof Le has published more than 60 papers in international journals (both in Math and Education) and is leading a research group at Vietnam Institute of  Educational Sciences on developing the Vietnam Educational Strategy Framework 2021 - 2030.

  

   

 

 

 

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Nam

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Nam is the dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of Education - Vietnam National University. He earned his master's and doctorate degrees in Clinical psychology of children and adolescents from Vanderbilt University in the United States. He has held positions such as lecturer at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Education - Vietnam National University, and Vice President of the Education Quality Assurance Institute - VNU. 

In addition, the associate professor has 16 articles and books published in reputable educational journals.

  

   

 

 

 

 

PGS.TS. Nguyen Chi Thanh

Nguyen Chi Thanh is currently the Dean of Faculty of Pedagogy at the University of Education, Vietnam National University Hanoi from 2018 up to now. His academic career started as a mathematics teacher at high school in 1991-2001. After that, he held his Master's and Ph.D. degrees at Grenoble University, France. And, he had a Post-Doctorate at the LDAR Research Center at the University of Paris VII, France. After he came back to Vietnam, he had a post of university faculties. He has been working at some private educational systems for several years as a mathematical assessment expert and then as principal from 2015 to 2018. His research interest is about using technology in mathematic education, teacher professional development, and didactic of mathematics.
