The first Hanoi Forum on Pedagogical and Educational Sciences drew over 1000 delegates

On the morning of November 24 in Hanoi, the University of Education (UEd) and the Vietnam National Institute of Educational Sciences (VNIES) jointly held the opening ceremony of the first Hanoi Forum on Pedagogical and Educational Sciences.

The forum is was organized in a hybrid format of live and online on the Zoom Webinar platform, as well as being broadcast online on the UEd's Fanpage and Youtube channel, with over 1000 domestic and international scientists, students, practitioners, and researchers participating online and thousands of interactions on social media channels.

 Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quy Thanh, Rector of the University of Education, spoke at the Forum's opening.

HaFPES (Hanoi Forum on Pedagogical and Education Sciences) was created to bring together domestic and international experts and researchers in research directions, and methods to generate an academic space in the field of educational science and pedagogy around the world; develop an academic environment for students. HaFPES has allowed researchers, faculty, and students to publish high-quality work that meets international standards.

HaFPES 2021 is the first in a series of forums on education science and pedagogy that will take place in the coming years. HaFPES 2021 aims to create an academic environment in which policies on approaches and adaptations in the field of teacher training and educational science in the context of digital transformation can be discussed, researched, and consulted. And AI (artificial intelligence) and IoT (Internet of things) are becoming increasingly popular in education.

Dr. Ton Quang Cuong, Dean of Faculty of Education Technology - HaFPES 2021 speaker, released a message on the forum regarding a class in which "Every technology-based lesson will be a game in which the teacher is a player, participating with learners, content becomes the rules of the game, and technology is toys. From that, Dr. Ton Quang Cuong provides teachers suggestions for redesigning the teaching plan,  students receive new tools and technology, and the system of tools and technologies is expanded."

Many veteran scientists in the disciplines of Education and Pedagogy, as well as many notable young scientists with publications in prestigious international journals, participated in the conference.
